There was a ripple of magic, and a figure appeared; tall, willowy, and covered head to foot in a thick cloak. The seeming mortal took a look around, then gave a long sniff, before turning and heading off into the sands.

"Troubling? Nooo," Tiziana replied absently. She was now thinking about how to present their errand at Amberpine. Laying it out like a young girl daydreaming about flying over Grizzly Hills in the shape of a dragon, it would probably not be taken seriously. Unfortunately, any 'report' coming from Leopold Chopin would likely be disregarded completely. And she wouldn't lie, of course. She worked her mind for another moment, but no good ideas emerged, and she decided to share the matter with her companions:
"How do you think we should present our 'knowledge'?"

"Hmm, an interesting query. We could always run into town, screaming 'dragon!' at the top of our lungs, that always has an interesting effect. Or maybe we could just infiltrate the town, sidle up to suspicious people and try an weed it out of them. Simply engage in polite conversation, ask the usual things; how are you, where are you from, are you in fact a flying fire breathing lizard. Standard fare."
"How powerful is this... sense of them you have?" Damon asked, disregarding Leopold's comment completely.

"Hmm, that does complicate matters." The musician scratched his chin in thought, then promptly clapped his hands. "Well, we'll hardly learn anything standing around here! I say we go to the town come fel or high water! And milady, I swear I shall protect you from anyone in that town that would do you harm," Leopold declared passionately.

Nuhm's brows furrowed and a smile scowl crossed his face. Betraying a lover was not something he was fond of. "I'm sure it will get better," he shrugged, knowing very well that that might not be the case. "Was this before you and Praey..?" the warlock ventured, not entirely certain of everything that happened last time they had met up with the magi.
Praey shrugged and glanced over at the two elves sitting beside the fire. "We, uh," she stumbled, biting her lip. "Jus' old friends, yah know how it ees, da crazy people dat one ends up meetin' wif," Praey chuckled.
Ashiena smiled slightly at Kirans comment, not believing it but glad for the support all the same. "I don't know," she sighed, rubbing her temple gingerly. "I really dont. The only reason I was in Northrend was to hunt for that bear. What is your group doin'?"
Berkana smiled, her face lighting up at the sight of Tristan copying the magic. She suddenly stopped the flow of her own, seeing how his would react to that change.

"I'm sure you will, Leopold," Tiziana said earnestly but not nearly as passionately. "Let's go and see what happens."
They soon came to Amberpine. If Leopold had expected a town he was in for a disappointment, Tiziana thought when they approached the handful of buildings. "Let's go see the lieutenant," she said excitedly, "and then we can have some lunch, don't you agree?"

"After, long after." Tae answered, his voice quiet. "It's been almost 17 years." He told Nuhm and chuckled darkly. "Shows why it's not a good idea to get on the wrong side of a woman eh?"
"Did you sleep with him?" Talia asked bluntly, looking at the troll woman, then gave a mirthless grin. "I know him Lady Praey; I have no doubt he tried it."
"We are on a hunt ourselves; searching for the Black Prince. The Temple wants him found, since they have no idea what he's planning." Kiran answered, putting his arms around his legs as he stared at nothing. "Need to keep busy at times." He said, almost to himself.

Tristan managed to finish healing the wound, and his expression brightened considerably. Unfortunately, the magic in his hands also fizzled out with a loud '
pop
', converting back to its raw arcane form before dissipating entirely.
"Brother...?" Isiria asked quietly, twisting her head in all directions at his sudden movement. She tried to place where he had gone, and only after a few precious seconds of deliberation did she manage to actually find him.

Alexxa sighed with a snort. She might not have come back in, except for the fact that she realized her fingers were going numb through her gloves from the cold. Reluctantly she headed back inside towards the fire and leaned back against the wall.
Exhaustion from all the traveling was suddenly settling in.
