If I'm mistaken please someone correct me.
When you track Beasts,
ALL
beasts will show on your minimap, even the ones that arn't skinnable because they have the beast ID.
You have to be aware that not all beasts are skinnable, even though they are a beast. Like a spider in theory, doesn't have a leather skin around itself like what a bear does, so theoretically, the spider isn't skinnable.
Also, you do need to
FULLY
loot the mob before you can skin.

I don't know then. You will have to ask another Wowhead user because I can't access my Hunter since I don't have any money :( It sucks.
But your not able to skin spiders and these other mobs?
