I have just figured out something!
Is it me or does skinning no longer give you a level up everytime you skin something?
Because I am skinning at the appropriate level to my skinning level and is taking 3-4 mobs to skin before I get 1 skill up on skinning!
Does it do this to anyone else?

Skinning never gave a skillup for everything you skin.
Try skinning things that show the word Skinnable in red when you hover over them. If it's yellow you'll have less chance and if it's green you have almost no chance.
