Instant Fireball (mage) procs are appearing on my screen with no add-ons. Funnily enough, nothing else is (eg, Revenge, Heroic Strike), so I'm not sure why that's the case. Going to explore more later.

Forgot the name of what I use but it even shows OP procs while in berserker stance as fury(Need to eat expertisefood to cap soft cap it so talking about heroics here)

well, the reason slam alert and event alert dont work is:

they parse the combat log to see when a buff is gained. for some very odd reason, (just log combat and check yourself), slam! is not logged anymore, and therefore doesnt trigger the addon.

power auras still works, but thats because it actually looks for the buff on the char, and not the entry in the combat log that says you have it (at least thats the way i understood it).

which method is "better" isn't important, but it doesnt seem to be a bug in the addon, but a bug (or maybe it was changed purposely) in the way the game logs certain events.
