I do but I haven't progressed far enough to speak from experience. My alt is a lvl 50 Draenai Warrior w/Armorsmithing (BS lvl 270). Though Im currently spec'd as Arms, I plan on changing that when I hit 70 or real close to it. Armorsmithing in the end only really gives you 3 or so Plate patterns that you can wear at lvl 70(and 3 for Mail also). Outside of those patterns I think Arena gear is better.
Is DPS what you're looking for or Tanking? I plan on tanking so for me that was the deciding factor.
Our lvl 70 hunter is a BS with Armorsmithing. He originally started with Weaponsmithing but then found that drops were better than some of the items he could make, so he switched to Armorsmithing.

cheers guys. ive decided to go down the weapon smith route as a warrior just seems the better way to go for me
