So... what's your level and how many times have you saved?
I'm level 20 and I've saved 345 times.
hard for me to tell how many times I've saved (How do you even see that?) since I tend to maniacly press F5 every 20 seconds or so.
On the save screen, there's a number next to the saves. At least there is here.
ohhh that xD
I dont use the normal saves, I like to keep my save-files named to tell them apart from each other, so I use the console command "Save" to save all those important moments like my final fight with alduin, or the final assassination for the dark brotherhood ect ect.
Other than those specially named saves I just use the quick-save button, so I have no idea how many times i've saved, but it must be well over the 3 digit figure by now.
Edit:
Now the possibilities are... overwhelming. Maybe there will be expacs? Maybe there will be super mods?
well, there was a fan-made mod for oblivion to go into skyrim, they made even the villages and everything, and it was released way before the actual Skyrim was out, of course given that it used textures and models from TES 4 it looks quite different but it was a nice adition.
So, maybe this will ease out the chances of us re-visiting cyrodiil.
Me, I smell expansion-pack on the nearby future, and DLCs. That Thalmor Dominion crap was left unresolved, and me thinks we're due for some nice high-elf kicking soon enough.
By the way, is there some way to dismiss the atronachs?
Only way I know is by either summoning another pet, or by killing them.

OH MY GOD!
on my second playthrough I just discovered something that may as well put all the simpathy and support I had for the stormcloaks all the way down to the gutter :S
Turns out, Ulfric, the so-called freedom-fighter.......... IS AN AGENT OF THE THALMOR! O_O
They converted him after capturing him during the great war. His rebellion - based around opposing the truce between the Empire and the Thalmor - is meant to weaken the Empire's hold on Skyrim (itself one of the last bastion of Imperial might) so that the Empire might be more vulnerable to a future Thalmor attack. Ulfric's supporters, who fight to oppose the Thalmor, are unknowingly helping them.
and here is the
proof
of it all. A dossier, found in the Thalmor embassy detailing how he is a dormant asset to the Dominion.
if that doesn't rock your world, I dunno what does.
Even though I marked it as a spoiler you guys really SHOULD read it, because this is the kind of details that are VERY easy to miss. I sure as hell missed this on my first playthrough and finnished the civil war on favor of the stormcloaks without knowing what was going on behind the curtain.
so yeah, I may not like the empire a lot, but after this? I don't think I can still support the stormcloaks anymore =(

I'm reading that completely differently.
He was not converted, he was lied to. They told him that in the process of his interrogations that he had let slip information that resulted in the capture of the Imperial City.
They let him escape. He did not know he was being released as an "asset".
He broke all direct ties with the Thalmor shortly after the war when it became clear that they were the reason he could no worship Talos anymore.
The Thalmor do indeed want a civil war, but Ulfric legitimately wants that as well for different reasons apart from them, and in fact completely ignorant of them.

ya but I can't shake the feeling that by supporting the civil war, I'm doing the Thalmor's job for them :S feels.......... wrong.
also, (and this may be my faulty english) isn't "Asset" a synonym of Agent, or tool?

:)
Based on what I read in that dossier, Ulfric is the 4th kind of asset

I'd say backing either the Imperials or the Stormcloaks is supposed to be an equally grey area morally.

=O didn't know that.........
well, that's a relief :P I was kinda starting to regret my support of the stormcloaks, and on a more careful read of the dossier:
The Thalmor don't want either side to win the war, they want them to keep fighting for as long as possible to weaken each other, so if either side wins, they lose
=) that's a relief knowing I'm in fact NOT doing the Thalmor's job for them by supporting the stormcloaks.
False alarm people, I wasn't aware of the extra meaning of "asset" and kinda miss-translated that little book I randomly found on the embassy.
Also, they had a Dossier on Delphine, and WOW what a badass woman xD not only she survived 3 assassination attempts, she personally killed all 3 assassin teams sent after her. Her dossier on the embassy actually recommends aproaching her only with OVERWHELMING FORCE to subdue her.
talk about badass =D

jubilee, if what u say is true, then my heart is completely saddenned.
i did the questline up to as far as i can go where i have to kill these "legionaires" but that's ALL.
i can't do anymore raids on anyone, nor progress to wipe out the other things.
i even became a THANE of windhelm, bought a house (12k gold), and even helped 5 residents, yet i have no more things that will be involved with cleaning out the opposing faction.

I read that too. How I took it was that it was intentional on the Thrallmar's part, but unbeknownst to the individual. Also, further down on the reading in game says they don't want him to be entirely successful.
Besides, what do you all have against the Thrallmar?

Besides, what do you all have against the Thrallmar?
dont you mean the Thalmor?
and you're not seriously asking that are you?
dude, they are in everything but name, Nazi elves.
Eugenics, fascist government, perceived racial superiority, goal of total hegemony, secret police, contempt for non-aggression pacts...... Their ideology goes beyond demanding the genocide of humanity and demands the removal of the potential of humanity ever existing, as it imprisons spirits on Mundus. Their ban on Talos worship? the very idea that a human could ascend to godhood is offensive to them, as only elves are fit to have that honor, and so, the greatest hero of mankind is banned from being worshiped, and should you disobey that dictate they kill you.
sounds familiar?
even their robes (which do look more like trenchcoats than robes) have a very distinct gestapo feel.
On the stormcloak vs empire, its evened out as a gray vs gray conflict, but the one thing that made me support the stormcloaks over the empire, is that the empire obeys the thalmor, and the thalmor ARE evil beyond all measure.
During the college of winterhold, they try to use an eldritch artifact to blow up skyrim sky-high.
When you confront the one responsible as to why he'd want to do such a thing, his answer is pretty much

I supermodded Skyrim, and it looks amazing, but I'm only getting 20 fps now :(
I'll have to go back and only try a couple things at a time to see what my computer can handle now.

So... the Dwemer museum.
Kill me now, please.
What's wrong about it?
You can just sneak through. As you enter, turn right. There should be a room where a woman is patrolling (maybe the guards are randomly generated and it could be a man too). Locked door behind the woman, open them. Pass through corridors. In the big room with a mage, either hug the right wall, jump over the enchanting table, and quickly sneak to the exit door. Alternatively, use a potion of invisibility and just go past them.
Do not use the rod for spider controlling, it is not needed at all and only attracts two guards into hard positions.
I got through it with 0 kills and 0 detections. I often let the enemies get a short glimpse of me, to make them wary so they get off their usual patrol paths, and then just sneak past them as they look for me and move forth.

for what quest is that?

I gotta say, the college of winterhold quests were kinda nice, but the ending was VERY anti-climmatic. Considering how epic the Dark Brotherhood chain was, as was the civil war chain, and SPECIALLY the main campaign, I wasn't expecting that low quality from the college.
Here's to hoping the thieves quests and companions quests are much more epic.
Thing is, even tough last time I said I was gonna start the thieves guild quests, I haven't gotten around that, I got sidetracked for a couple of days doing a quest that led me to another quest that led me to another quest that led me to another quest.
What started with me trying to fetch a letter for a woman who lived on solitude from her son on riften, ended up with me battling a Vampire nest, clearing 2 bandit strongholds, cleansing a temple for a Daedra Lord, Visiting an Orc Stronghold and managing to give an orc female the freedom to adventure she always wanted by paying off her dowry, getting cured of the vampirism I contracted while clearing that nest, and playing hide-and-seek with a couple of little girls on solitude.
Now that I cleared that up, I am unsure what to do next, thieves or companions.......
Maybe I should flip a coin.
