So the Dog that you have to pay 500 gold for as a companion aparently returns to the stables after 2 days of waiting in one place or if told to go home, and you have to buy him all over again.

Really? Hadn't tried. Or are you referring to the console command?
Console commands :)

To marry anyone, make a setfriend.txt file with this commands inside Skyrim folder:
setrelationshiprank player 4
addfac 19809 1
addfac 5c84d 1
addfac 5a1a4 1
Open console, select NPC, type "bat setfriend", do quest to marry said NPC, enjoy :)
May cause errors if used on Main Quest NPCs, Khajiit/Bosmer characters.

To divorce, make a divorce.txt file with this commands inside Skyrim folder:
removefac 51596
player.removefac c6472
resetquest 74793
resetquest 21382
setstage 74793 10
Open console, select wife/husband, type "bat divorce", be free :)

This is an alternative way, if you're lazy.

Mehrunes Dagon and Azura have Daedra-a-plenty in their quests.

i know there's a daedra, but has anyone HERE killed one yet. i'll keep spamming quesitnos as long as i want.

I've killed 6 or 7 Dremora on one of my characters. Since Oblivion and the Daedra don't play a major role in Skyrim, you have to do quests involving the Daedric Princes to fight them.

And to answer your as of yet unasked question, vendors start selling Daedra Hearts once you reach a certain level.

So, Bethesda game combat systems remain Bethesda game combat systems. Probably my biggest gripe so far. Fortunately I've got like 85 sneak skill or something ridiculous and probably about five sets of armor designed to make you sneakier so I don't often fight things anyway.

I found that if your sneak fails, you don't fail the quest. Just tank your way through it.
