Time to solve this problem like a true RP gamer!
With (virtual) dice!
01-33 - Magic
34-66 - Combat
67-99 - Stealth
100 - Reroll
Choices:
1) Stealth / Magic
2) Magic / Stealth
3) Combat / Magic
4) Combat / Stealth
5) Magic / Combat
01-20 - 1

Combat seems to be the inferior one (from what I've been able to see in the 11 reviews I've watched) simply because while its solid, there aren't many changes to how it used to be in oblivion.
One interesting change is that if you spec into two-handed weapons, once you have advanced far enough into it, you can do a power-strike (press and hold the left mouse button) and all enemies in front of you get hit by it (like a cleave, but with an unlimited target cap)
other than that, the ability to use your shield to bash oponents, and random execute animations, melee seems rather the same as ever.
Magic got improved but at a cost. you can no longer craft your own spells, but the spells available are impressive, to say the least. More spell variety, more eye-candy with them (they looked rather simplistic in all other 4 games) and they hit harder, plus Mana regens kinda faster now.
Archery also got buffed BADLY, shooting is slower, but arrows deal an insane amount of damage, there's also a "bullet-time" when you zoom in on a target, and once you've specced deep enough into archery most normal enemies in the game (Save the large ones like giants, atronarchs, dragons ect) will be pinned down with your arrows, giving you time to pump'em full of them before they can touch you.
And last but not least, Stealth got improved tremendously, because you can now go into stealth in the middle of a combat (though this has a small cooldown) and if you tought sneak attacks did a lot of damage in oblivion, prepare to yell WTF real loud now.
Sneak attack with melee weapon = 6x times damage. (just like oblivion)
Sneak attack with bow = 3x times the damage (just like oblivion, except this time bows dont hit like pea-shooters, they actually hit hard, so a sneak attack with a bow is usually a 1shot with most foes)
Sneak attack with a dagger = 15x damage and no, this is not a typo, 15X TIMES THE NORMAL DAMAGE, AND YOU CAN EQUIP 2 DAGGERS FOR DOUBLE THAT DAMAGE.

I'll be doing a very extensive review of the game once its in my hands, hopefully tomorrow, I'm gonna be REALLY PISSED OFF If I have to wait 2 extra weeks like I had to do with Deus Ex Human Revolutions.
Though considering the hype this game has, and how insanely popular oblivion was over here, I'm hoping it wont come to that.
