Yeah, the new one doesn't make me nearly as dizzy as the old one even though the new one has a lot more mouse spazzing :P, and the ground textures don't pop in as often so i'd say yes, that's about where I'd be happy with it.
Thanks. Btw, the ground textures probably aren't up as much because I fiddled with anti-aliasing and some other settings.
Surprisingly, the game was running between 20-30 FPS during the recording. Not too bad, to be honest.

Good vid, Interest. You should use your autoattacks a bit more though :B A few times there, you just stood next to the Dragon and did nothing.

Well near the end I delayed my attacks on purpose in order to get a cinematic killing blow. =)
Incidentally, the attack controls seem rather stiff. Every time I try to use normal attacks repeatedly to conserve Stamina, it ends up being a power attack lol.

I find the same thing. The attack controls in Skyrim feel worse than the ones from Morrowind. Not sure how they went backwards on something so important after all that time, but oh well.

How do you guys deal with freezes which happen upon a closed -> open cell transition?
I'm tired of manually saving every time I enter a closed cell.

I don't seem to have that issue o.0.

What do you guys think the next expansion for Skyrim will be? Fallout had the Pit and Alaska, Oblivion the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, any thoughts/opinions on what Skyrim will have?

Rumor has it the expansion/DLC will involve old provinces like Morrowind.

I'm hoping one of the future expacs allows us to deal with the Thalmor.
Somehow I doubt they will do what mass effect did, and allow us to import a save-file for Elder Scrolls VI, so the choices we have made (Aiding the rebels or the empire, killing the emperor, or finishing off the dark brotherhood, ect) will not be likely to be trasnfered over.
Chances are they'll pick one to be canon and the others are just alternates.

Wouldn't that involve Morrowind? KAZAAM!

My theory: Now that the Stormcloaks or Imperials have won the battle for Skyrim. (Depending on you're side) They move on to new battlegrounds to stake their conquesting armies in the endless battle for resources. Up in the Wrothgarian/Dragontail mountains lies Orsinium, the capital of the Orcs, a place that has been constantly battled over. The first part of the expansion would be taking Orsinium from the Orcs with either the Stormcloaks or the Imperials. After this is done, the Thalmor invade it, seeing that you're armies are now weakened. Then it goes into a bunch of quests that involve defeating the Thalmor. Once this is finished, Orsinium is named as the tenth hold of Skyrim and the player becomes the Jarl.

i don't see why the stormcloaks or imperials would go beat up on the orcs after gettin skyrim, and isn't orsinium usually battled over by the orcs?

Your idea implies that the player
has to
side with either the Stormcloaks or Imperials. I know there are people that did not side with either, like me. And I do not really want to. Screw Stormcloaks and Imperials and their extreme ambiguity.
I somewhat like the idea of dealing with the Thalmor. From a story perspective, that would be a good thing to do.
As a player though, what I would prefer the most is some kind of a giant dungeon that I could delve into, ideally with a good questline assigned to it. As an example: the Tribunal expansion for Morrowind. You had this pretty town that was mostly insignificant though, and you had dungeons. Humongous underground endless dungeons full of difficult enemies and traps and ancient lore. That's what would suit my fancy. Social things in Skyrim are nice, but
aggressive archaeology
is best.
And I want a variety of Daedra to appear in some content for Skyrim. I don't care about how lore-wise they shouldn't appear or whatever, they are just bloody cool things to fight.

Hmm, yes...Perhaps the Thalmor persuade the Orcs to invade Skyrim and the Dragonborn must defend Skyrim from the Orcish invasion? And after this happens, the Jarls attack with their armies upon Orsinium, and in doing so, find out of the Thalmor's schemes and confront them. After admitting to their backstabbing/manipulating ways, the Thalmor invade Skyrim confident that they'll take it. But that's where they're wrong. The Jarls then withdraw their armies from Orsinium and defend their lands from the Thalmor. During this, the player must sabotage Thalmor settlements, engage in huge battles as well as small skirmishes, as well as acting as a diplomat for each Jarl or something. Then once that's done the player can then do quests that involve either helping the Orcs rebuild Orsinium or take it for himself, becoming the tenth Jarl. I don't know just a thought, what I would like to see however is the option of joining the Thalmor...that would be cool. :D

not really. Morrowind was taken by argonians wasn't it? and they're not a part of the thalmor.
The Aldimeri Dominion is made of the high elves, wood elves, and kajhiit. (I know I misspelled it but its been months since I played skyrim xD)

Hm. I thought Morrowind was the homeland of some race of elves though, no? (I'm not good at TES lore)

Cyrodiil - Imperials
Morrowind - Dark Elves
Skyrim - Nords
Orsinium - Orcs
High Rock - Bretons
Summerset Isles - High Elves
Hammerfell - Redguards
Black Marsh - Argonian
Elsweyr - Khajiit
Valenwood - Wood Elves
And I think that's it, right? Or atleast on the continent of Tamriel.
