I WANY SKYRIM SO BAD.
so do I, I'm using a utorrent to download it........ its been over 3 hours since I started, and its barely on 120Mb........ out of 5.12Gb. T_T Estimated time left: 1 week and 3 days.
dont look at me like that :S damn game wont arrive legally in my country....... ever, so I either buy a pirated version on the black market (hasn't arrived yet, and wont do so for another 3 weeks) or I download it.
ugh, the agony, I dont even know if this utorrent will lead to a working version of it, that's the issue with pirated games, you gotta take a leap of faith with them because you simply dont know if they will work or not.
/sighs

I'll put this in a spoiler, because I believe the quest I just finished was part of the main storyline, but it's fairly early on in the game.
I just killed a big-ass dragon, got some tablet for a dude, became thane of Whiterun, and I
still
need to pay 5000 gold for a house in the town where I'm the leader? What the hell?
following that logic: On oblivion, you can be the frikking champion of Cyrodil, the Arena Grandchampion, The Grand Master of the largest merc group in the land (Fighters Guild) The Archmage of Cyrodil, the slayer of mankar camoran, and the new Daedric God of madness, and STILL people will ask you to kill the rats in their basement while paying you a meager 100 coins for the trouble.
for that matter, after saving the city of bruma by single-handedly closing 7 oblivion gates, convincing the other cities to send backup, holding the line, and dismantling the world-breaker, one would think that the countess of bruma would at LEAST offer me a home for free, after all they DID made a nice statue of me on the entrance. but no, I gotta pay 10k gold for it, plus another 12k for furniture, no discounts allowed.

You're not the leader, technically - you're just one of the Jarl's (who IS the leader) more trusted allies, or something. But yeah, I would have expected a discount at the very least

so...... has anyone tried to marry someone in skyrim? how does that work? is there any perks? any downsides? is there any variety on who you can marry? or are they generic NPCs with no personality like on Fable 3?
COME ON! I need some info to sate the urge to play it T_T acording to utorrent gonna have to wait at least 1 week to finish the download, and acording to the sellers on the black market I will have to wait 3 weeks to buy it there.

Ok. Here is my 10 hour play time report:
Journeyed to a city. Asked about how to train in magic. Was pointed to another city. Journeyed to that city. Joined the magic university. Spent hours doing a 3 part quest. Whew. I feel sort of like I'm filing down a mountain with an emery board.
I'm level 6.

I picked up a side quest to rescue a Greymane from some Imperial dungeon, took several hours traveling all the way across the map of Skyrim. Killed some bandits and wolves, got my ass reamed by a bear. Got there and couldnt figure the way to let the guy out without bloodshed so I killed my way to teh basement (it was not easy) and freed him.
I am also level 6.
I ^&*!ing love this game...

I chopped through the dungeon that was shown in the Skyrim preview videos, than through a tunnel dungeon, and then through a dungeon with spriggans and a pretty tough bear. Discovered two cities and one small town up to now. The main abilities I have been skilling up are One Handed, Archery, Sneaking, Pickpocketting, and Lockpicking, so I am fairly thievery. I wear a complete set of upgraded leather armor that I crafted myself (love the crafting system). My weapons are fine elven daggers that I both stole from the pockets of rich townfolks and also sharpened on a grindstone for some additional damage.
I am level 11, and I also *!@#ing love this game.

I'm not a hater of Skyrim, but
WOW, Skyward Sword got outrated (10 vs 9.5 < Skyrim).
by IGN.

Yeah but it's IGN... It's like Trade chat having a "serious" discussion/opinion.
Edit: Plus I've learned to form my own opinion on games instead of relying on a score-o-meter that's influenced by publishers. I've saved a bit more money in the longrun.
Edit edit: Not that I meant the last comment to be a shot at you, Interest. Just at ratings in general.
