So I'm curious about the potential of soloing stuff as a paladin. What spec is the best? What gear should one get? Stats? What content can
you
down? Thougths and oppinions, it all goes here.
I hear bear druids are pretty damn good at it. I had a run in MC and was left behind as resto shaman by some guildies with a
sense of humor
. Took ages to kill that core hound but I managed and could finally HS with my honor intact, was fun thou. Didn't have all that superior gear. Warlocks and the like have soloed onyxia. The list goes on.
So as my pala starts hitting the high end (ain't everyone leveling 8 characters at once?) I wanna try to backtrack throu wow history and grab some neat looking epics just for the hell of it without depending on tens of guildies carrying me throu. And admit it, plate looks the best :]
So please share and discuss what you know.

Well, as lvl 70 and protection I was able to beat the crap out of any instance lower than Mana-Tombs, which I never tried. Ramparts, BF, SP, UB all went down with no risk at all. If the same set of rules apply to Wrath, you should be able to do the lower-end Northrend instances with some decent gear. Anything lower is easier of course, and the lvl 60 stuff which was a cakewalk at 70 should be even more of a joke now.
I recommend you to do the Blackrock Mountain and Dire Maul instances, they're full of win if you don't have to wipe all over the place. I heard they're removing the 3-person requirement for UBRS in 3.0.8, but I might be mistaken.
