Everyone is doing it, so I did too a couple times. Takes forever though.
Boomkin specced. A couple minutes in I could see it would take hours, so dove in to the Whelps. Put on my heal gear for much better mana regen. That worked. I would do a Regrowth, and sometimes a rejuv, get some time out of 5SR, but the mana regen was only enough to sustain the healing until the next time Innervate was up. Nuke away for a bit, then go back in to the Regrowth holding pattern. Regrowth was definitely the most mana effective heal btw, since I got more ticks on regen outside 5SR.
Heal specced. Mana regen was way way better. But my DPS was pathetic. I could keep at least a Moonfire up the whole time, heal myself and still get a few nukes off. Despite what how I thought it would go, it actually took longer. It wasn't quite as excruciating, waiting for the Innervate timer, but still took longer. That was right about 50 minutes.
So, how are you guys doing it? I know some of you are!

One thing I found kind of funny was how trivial Deep Breath is at 80. At first, I was watching closely, staying out of it. Then I was killing some whelps and got nailed by one. It took maybe 4k health off, which was not a big deal at all. After that, I just ignored them completely. If I get hit, oh well. Oh, and she does it more often after the last patch too.
i'm a really impatient feral druid.
phase 1: cat form, barkskin + 2NT + regrowth + rejuv about every 1 1/2 minutes
phase 2: bear form, swipe adds, heal whenever you get too low.
phase 3: bear form (fear is too often)
all in all, it's a very boring 15ish minutes, but extremely easy
other easy solos:
- Tiger boss (ZG)
have the healer focused and feral charge whenever he tries to heal. get them all down to around 10%, then berserk to kill em all within 10 seconds.
- fishy boss (ZG)
tank and spank, free poly turtle (if it drops)
- right now i'm working on raptor boss (hard with 1 second lag lol)
kill the raptor first
DO NOT use lacerate or thorns, because whenever bloodlord gazes at you, this will cause around 2k damage. make sure to stop all attacks whenever he gazes at you.
I use my pvp trinket as well as berserk to counter 1/2 to 3/4 of the fears
Overall notes while soloing:
1. keep up demoralizing roar and infected wounds
2. always pop survival instincts before frenzied regeneration (makes the ticks a lot bigger)
I've also been soloing the raven boss in H sethekk, only major thing is to heal right as soon as he calls for his children (about to banish himself) and to watch out for spell bomb when you switch out (i normally switch out, wait for him to cast it on me, then cast 3 HT to top myself off). also, use barkskin whenever he uses paralyzing screech. swipe adds, use SI +FR whenever you get too low, and ya should be good.
I've also heard of ferals soloing hmgt for chocobo mount, but i haven't tried it yet.
Sounds like Feral is way way faster than any caster type of spec. Looks like I brought a knife to a gun fight!
