Special pet battle tactics

Allright so, the idea of this thread is to brainstorm a bit on what kind of tactics would be nice to know and/or be able to execute when playing vs. other players, either to make them laugh, cry out in frustration, or just plainly win.
I'll start of with a tactic that's focused on mostly outlasting your opponent while doing passive damage. Pet setup:
Clockwork Gnome
- Metal Fist
- Repair
- Build Turret
Fawn
- Stampede
- Tranquility
- Bleat
These two pets are the focus of the build. The idea is to open with the Clockwork Gnome, Build a turret, Metal Fist, build another turret, and then switch to your Fawn. Here you can either Stampede for some more passive damage, or start healing with Tranquility/Bleat. Note that bleat also heals your Gnome, same for Tranq if you switch back with tranq up, so you should be able to set up your cannons again not too long after they expire.
The use of Repair is a bit tricky, I'm not really sure how much it heals at level 25, but if it's enough, you can use this to stay alive if your Fawn died somehow, and replace the turrets after.
The last pet in this build that (I think) I'll use is:
Nether Ray Fry
- Bite/Arcane Blast
- Tail Sweep/Slicing Wind
- Shadow Shock/Lash
Note that he doesn't have any survivability moves, it's more of a last-resort type of thing. With his moves he has incredible coverage, so if you know which pets your opponent will use, choose your moves accordingly. I would advise against using Tail Sweep and Lash at the same time, since Tail Sweep does more damage if you're last, and Lash if you're first. The flying typing makes Lash a pretty nice choice if you can pass a Tranq aswell, since you'll stay above 50% longer and thus probably attack first longer.
Another possible filler is Grunty, with the humanoid typing, he already passively heals. His build I would pick as follows:
- Gauss Rifle
- Shield Block
- Launch
Shield Block and Launch for avoiding big attacks, Gauss Rifle for extra damage. This coupled with the Clockwork Gnome and the Fawn would make a pretty resilient team I'd say, not too sure if it puts out alot of damage though. There's also a pretty heavy focus on mechanical damage , so watch out for elementals.
That sortof concludes it for this build, if anyone has any other special stuff, feel free to post!
Edit: added Grunty as possible filler.

I've found that Lil' Smoky was a good mechanical to use.
