Spirit beast pets

Hi i was just wondering which is the easiest spirit beast to find and tame for my hunter ive been tryind to find a few but there impossible to find .any advice would be appreciated.

There are no rules which are easier to find and which are harder. If they are spawned you will find it on one of spawn spots, if they are not (either too many rares in the region or someone killed/tamed it) there is nothing you can do and it doesnt depend on type of the spirit beast.

My friend and i were duoning Naxx and i told him to spec BM with spirit bond and spirit beast for the healing but problem was he didint have one. So i checked closest ones: Arcturus (wasnt there) and Gondria (found it). I summoned him to it, he tamed. One happy hunter.

Logically pets from Northrend should be easier to find because people no longer level through there dont do quest there (some may be herbing/mining), but every other hunter trying to tame one could take same logic making them scarce there.

There are 3 Spirit beasts in hyjal, and I swear that at least one of them is active pretty much all the time. Like Zakkhar said because Northrend is so unpopulated that if you just fly a couple quick cycles around northrend following the spawnmaps on wowhead I'd be amazed if you didn't find at least 1.

If you are pet hunting, get the NPC Scan add-on with the mini-map extra module to make finding the rare beasties easier. Arcturis is the first spirit pet you can tame at level 74, Loque'nahak at level 76, Gondria at level 77. The rest of the spirit pets are at level 80 and up.

I was lucky on Winterhoof and got the server 1st Arcturis, exactly 12 hours after the server went live with the patch. It helped that I spent a lot of time locking down his spawn point to the foot on the PTR server, so when he spawned he instantly aggro-ed me and I was able to lock in the tame before the other 3 hunters in the area. 8-)

Depends on your server. I'd suggest Ghostcrawler because as Ymogin said, it's "pretty much unkillable, and tucked far, far away in the ass-end of Vashj'ir, where nobody goes."
Other one would be Arcturis, due to it only has one spawn place (camped it with my mage, set heartstone on Amberpine lodge, so even if i would iddle in SW could check it often). best is to have ur alts that you barely use stand at the spawn points, and log your hunter when you find one. Anyway, good luck:)

Like others have said it really depends on so many different factors as to who will be up "a lot", but I personally have noticed Ban'thalos available a lot. The bird spawns flying over the Molten Front dailies in Mount Hyjal.

I personally think the fastest way to tame, of the only 2 ways i know of doing solo, is to dismount a little bit above it, shoot it as you're falling down to agro it, then Disengage to reset your fall height before you hit the ground to not take fall damage. He has a Moonfire ability that will do about 120k damage or so across 4 ticks, so as soon as you land drop a Freezing trap, pull Ban'thalos into it and Tame.

As someone else mentioned I've noticed the Spirit Beasts that spawn in Northrend to be up consistently as well since people don't often make that trek anymore, good luck!
