I dont know healbot but i assume it can do everything Vuhdo can or less.
Full name of this ability is:
Spirit Mend(Exotic Ability)
Maybe thats why it isnt working.

You definitely can.
Hover your mouse over the spirit mend button on your pet action bar and run this line of script
/run print(GetMouseFocus():GetName())
this will give you the name of the button in your chat. Now make a macro named Spiritmend(or whatev) that says
/click ButtonName
Replace ButtonName with whatever the /run line returned in your chat.
In healbot, select the macro Spiritmend for the desired click, voila! :)
PS. The above works with bar mods or the default ui so don't worry about that.
PSS. I don't anymore, but I used to use healbot on my hunter too, you are not alone :D Assist, misdirect, bandage, potions all used to be keyed in hb for me until they changed the spell select from typing in to the dropdowns.

Yep, you need the actionbutton for the macro :) let us know if it works.
The reason I had you hover and run that macro is that it will make it work even if you are using a bar mod, but it is the bar space name you need, the spell name (or it's place in the spellbook) is irrelevant.
Figured knowing that might help you if you have anything else you want to key through healbot that has issues :)
