still unclear is that this paragraph references swords offhand. i take it now refers to daggers offhand as that is bundled in with cqc.
The article is not updated to wotlk. In BC sword spec was superior so everything revolved around them.
according to shadowpanther maep there is a large difference, the paper cutter being behind the sword.
Take shadowpanther with a grain of salt. It takes no account of the rest of your gear, spec or raid composition. It compares items in a vacuum. A good spreadsheet is the only way to precisely weigh dps.
