I levelled with combat and loved it, also loved leveling with sub ( I respecced a lot.)
It is all you like, and it does not matter much, have fun with it!

If you are looking for PVE than:
A Druid would be a good compliment to a rogue or any hybrid class for that matter.
Two Rogues could group well together.One of the rogues could be a Combat and take the heat while the other rogue an Assassination helps to take down the mob or cc's adds.Or the two Assassination rogues could switch off on Cheap shots at lvl 26 Kidney Punch at 30.When you get Tricks of the Trade you can switch off argo on each other.
I don't play PVP much so I am not sure on that 1.
