Still can't decide which spec to choose

hey everyone,
well I've been browsing the forums a lot, and pretty much know the sticky by heart, but I still can't find an answer.
You see, the problem is that I am used to Combat Swords (I have both S2 swords, currently level 76) and I'm starting to notice more and more the "Combat Swords = Fail" threads. To me this is pretty much a dilemma.
On one hand, there's mutilate that's receiving a lot of praise, but I plain just don't like the rotation. I find it's too much stack dependent, and can really be hurt by fears, polymorphs, or just plain short boss fights where your stacks either vanish or you cannot build enough CP to use them effectively.
On the other hand, I've been seeing that fist/dagger spec is picking up popularity, but so far I don't see any good fist weapons until the KotEB honored reward.
So what would you advise me to do? Switch to Muti and live with it or remain combat and switch out my swords for fist/dagger ?

A 2.5 speed off-hand is a good weapon to you?

1. Get to 80. Doesn't really matter how.
2. Run CoS HC for
Greed
until it drops and you get it.
3. Buy a
Librarian's Paper Cutter
from the AH or be lucky enough for it to drop in HoL.
4. Spec fist/dagger combat.
5. Profit.

Well when I said "good" I meant more along the lines of "easy to obtain" and "an upgrade to my S2 MH". And I didn't see it was OffHand. LOL that explains why it wasn't listed in shadowpanther.net
You're next best is the Fist/dagger spec KidB mentioned
Well, good to hear combat is still a viable spec. Thanks for the advice everyone, if anyone has more, I'm all ears, but I think I'll be following KidB's advice.

Unless they're doing it secretly, the bug in HaT won't be fixed in the next patch. If they don't, Sub raiders live...

This will pretty much last you until Naxx. After that start looking at mutilate otherwise your dps will never change until you basically have naxx-25 on farm.
