Pretty sure you'll look like every other plate-wearer out there until you get some Tier Gear, seeing as Blizzard thought it was a good idea to make every single piece of armor look the same with different tones of color.
The only way you don't look the same is if you're in like Vanilla WoW epix that no one uses anymore. Even still, that'd probably gimp you like crazy since Outland Blues and Greens are amazing.

Ya, I'm pretty sure if you don't look like every other DK (Considering the only real difference in gear looks is the number of spikes comming out of you. Aka more spikes = better gear.) you're doing something wrong.
