I find Wowhead is the best, most organized site for browsing gear upgrades for my character, to know where I should be taking myself in the next week or so. But something that bothered me is the lack of ability to compare two or more items.. Right now I need to open multiple browser tabs and skim through each item in question to get an idea of the best choice, which can be annoying.
It would be nice to see a compare feature, on weapons, armor and item sets. I'd really love to be able to check a bunch of items and have them line up, side-by-side, showing me all the stats included in any given item listed compared to any other item listed, and hopefully highlight the stat number for the item which has the highest of said stat. Additionally the ability to group items in this would help. It would make comparing a staff with a dagger+off-hand nice and easy.
Closest thing currently available would be
Wowhead Wish List
, which allows you to compare items side-by-side. The other things you've suggested are being
worked on
currently for the site itself for the near future.
