Suggestion: ItemID searchable in Searchbox

I'm using an Addon, which shows me ingame the ItemID of every item when mouseover.
Because i'm using the german client, it is sometimes difficult to search on wowhead.com for specific items. So i use the url: "
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=<ItemID>"
and enter the ID manually.
This works "good", but it would be great, if i just enter the ItemID in the Searchbox-Field, without typing it in the url.

If you're using Firefox, you could set up a search shortcut so you would only have to type something like "wh 2324" and it would do it for you.
