So we all hate the infamous "caps lock spam" so I was thinking, if someone posts more than 10-15 characters, excluding spacing, in all uppercase, could a system like the profanity filter be applied and make the entire post lower case?

That would have to be one of the most pointless uses of our time imaginable, blademeld.
Just report it, moderators can edit topic titles and posts. Plus, that way, we are alerted to users who like to post like that and may be looking for a swift ban to the face.

With all due respect, I think its a pretty good idea. Unless editing an RTards caps post makes your day... but to me that seems like a waste of time.
Programming-wise it wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

That's what I assumed, since I have the slightest background information of programming, I think it'll only take a couple minor tweaks here and there, if not, my apologies.
That's why I suggested it, as for being alerted to it, you can presumably program it to tell you as well.
Anywho, disregarding that, it's been a while since I've seen Miyari!

Considering they already have a filter that cuts repeated characters down to one...
I'm remembering how many times I've tried to make the Southpark sock gnomes joke, complete with ordered lists, and have had to go back and edit the triple ?s back in after they were edited down to one for me.
