We're always trying to balance the convenience of having more information displayed on the search page against cluttering the page up with too much information. At this point, I think the extra click or two required to get onto the individual item page and see the "Sold By" tab is probably better than cluttering that page up with hundreds of detailed mouseover map/descriptions.
