so when I hover over it with my mouse (on my action bar) the modifications will show? (your answer wasn't very clear to me)
Yes, when you put the spell on your action bar, and mouse over it, the spell information will include the mods from your current spec. However, just as an fyi, the buff bar, next to the mini-map, will not.

It will affect the spell but not the tooltips. er... I think. Just trust that if it's there it's working.
