Tagging a city raid boss - not in raid group
Return to board index
The other 39 should be banned for being stupid enough to spend 10 minutes killing a boss that they hadn't tagged.

This would only be true if achievements kept you alive. And until they invent a life support machine that turns off if you aren't getting enough WoW achievements, they never will.
it is a clever use and you gain alot in short run, but in long run you lose alot more so it is stupid thing to do. Imagine that bad rep that said persons gets, i would not like to group and instance with him. Because i know then i could not trust him, and he may aswell declare himself as an exploiter of every situations.
So yes he is clever, but on the same time incredible stupid. If he planned progressing with that toon, he has very low chances now with the fact 39 people just destroyed his rep.
That said guy will be forgotten the week after, if he doesnt choose to change his name or server. In any case, its completely harmless.
In todays WoW where ppl abuse, ninja, lie and are generally bad players noone care.
Welcome to World of Teencraft, where 80% of the community are kids who hasnt learned moral values.
Some people will hate him, some people will love him. We had a case in the TBC there a orc hunter got invited to a famous guild on the server to do kara. The guild in itself did run a policy there they had group loot on. The hunter was not a guild member but he was on the friend list. Then they got to curator he had put fraps on, ninja looted the stuff then everyone else passed(i know it was stupid of the guild, but they thought they could trust him, so no moral lesson on the guild behalf). He did a dance and put it out on youtube. He got loved by anymous people on youtube and hated by other.
The guild itself put out an hit on him on the realm forum and the said hunter was ninja marked, after a month he name changed. But that did not help really people still know who he was, so he changed server and the thing he did is still haunting him bcs the new server he moved on, the guild and other from my server poison his rep in the trade chat on the server he moved to. That was the last i heard about him in the realm forum.
My server is quite vindictive and we do not forget about people who scam, screw and ninja once it gotten out on the realm forum. But some stuff we do not care about, like if you got pvp on and killing a world boss then another guild see it and kill the MT.
People remember more than you give them credit for, also it is probarly something who depends on the server you are located on. I play on a EU Server.
