Racial Bonuses that provide +Weapon Skill thus turn out to be pretty valuable for improving your +hit capability. For Humans, Dwarves, Orcs and Trolls their racial bonuses increase their Weapon Skill at Level 70 from 350 to 355. With a 355 Weapon Skill, your base miss rate against a Level 73 mob (or skull boss) is only 6% instead of 9%.
I'd actually go for the axe unless you are hit capped. It has less stamina and dps, but more defense rating and +hit rating (even more thanks to your racial). I guess that's the reason the axe exists in the first place... as soon as you are hit capped, use the sword because then you'll want more avoidance and health. The damage is not really an issue here - if you miss the mob, there's no damage anyway, and it's only 2.3 dps difference.

I hope that was a joke/troll attempt.
It's not that easy.

Basically you need to add 3% hit to the weapon if it's an axe.
So for
Warbringer
vs
King's Defender
the stats are:
* Warbringer 81.1 dps, speed 1.80, 12 stamina, 16 defense rating, 7 hit rating + 3% hit = 3.44% hit
* King's Defender 87.5 dps, speed 1.60, 28 stamina, 182 armor, 13 defense rating, 17 hit rating = 1.07% hit
So King's Defender got 6.4 more dps, 16 more stamina, 182 more armor, but 3 less defense rating and 2.37% less hit.
In short: As an orc, you should pick
King's Defender if you lack sta/armor
and
Warbringer if you're tired of missing a lot
and your warlocks overaggro a lot.
Note: there's also been various tests about +weapon skill also lowering the chance to be dodged and I believe the difference is rather high for the first 5 weapon points between a level 70 and 73. But I don't have any solid numbers, so I left it out.
