I am running some heroics with mediocre success. I seem to be taking a lot of damage most of the time and I don't know if it is my gear of *cough* the healer? Is my spec/gems/forging correct?

I guess what atomic was trying to say is that you need to click the Helpful Links page at the top of the Paladin forums - there are guides and threads that you can learn from. If you still have questions
after you read those, that's what creating a new topic is for. Our job is to form the guides and answer questions that aren't addressed in the guides - we aren't here to go through every millimeter of your character to make sure you are 100% perfect or whatever. We don't get paid to do that...
I'll go through the basics though, because I have
time and nothing else to do. Be aware that very few others go through your characters - again, not our jobs unless we're getting paid... and we don't.
Your talent specialization is, to be blunt, terrible. However, specializations are gone-through heavily on the guides you can find
here.
Chest, sword, shield, trinket - Don't reforge to any avoidance other than mastery, unless the item currently has mastery on it and you're reforging parry to dodge (or vice versa, to get the two as close as possible).
Beyond that, dude, read the freaking guides. People spent a lot of time on them... USE THEM.
Don't get mad at people who don't want to go through your character after you won't even bother to read the guides that a number of the forum-greats have written
for the very purpose of helping you.
