you asked about a raiding build and i'll comment with that in mind. in my guild, the dps is much more geared than i am, and i've found with a few players, i don't have the giant threat lead i normally do in 5-mans.
although I still don't get why Imp. HS is a factor.. I only use it after a revenge...
you need to change this. on a boss fight, you need to queue up HS whenever you have >50 rage.
The deep wounds build is played with a slow tanking weapon
not true on raid bosses. fast > slow still for raid tanking.
I used thoose three talents to reduce the stun and charms down by 20% for more survivability and lesser interrupts in threat building
i don't think i've been charmed by a raid boss lately - this is not a useful PVE talent. move those to improved HS for sure.
Improved rend is for deep arms builds only.
i actually take this over improved charge (for raiding) just in case i'm called upon to dps for a fight.
put spell reflect instead of my personal fav imp revenge
i don't think i'd consider a build without improved revenge. 20% more damage on one of your best threat moves is golden. although, i do agree with bagwell about block - i just can't get myself to give up points there like many raiding tanks are doing.
for raiding, i've been going with this build
; however, it does stink in 5-mans. major rage starvation problems there.
when i get dual specs, my second one will be something like this
for quick badges. my regular group is about 1-2 minutes off the drake timer atm, and any extra dps is gonna help. however, i seriously doubt an extra 266 damage on cleave will come anywhere close to deep wounds. especially since deep wounds costs 0 rage, while cleave is 17 and it's next attack. 17 rage is not a spammable ability.
