Fast fast fast unless you want to focus only on AoE tanking with a deep wounds spec. On most bosses 90%+ of my autoattacks are converted into heroic strikes, and I'm using a 1.50 weapon. You could easily lose over 10% of your threat just by using a slow weapon.
