Tanking Spec Idea

First of all, this wasn't MY idea. I was talking to my friend recently about my spec. I wanted Improved Leader of the Pack and I didn't want to give up any of my talents =P . And he is pretty good with specs. He came up with this Idea:

He thought of this: By getting Master/Natural Shapeshifter, to maximize damage, And taking advantage of Nurturing instinct along with Imp. Leader of the Pack, that you would also in turn maximize threat by healing yourself/doing more damage. And you would be helping the healer out as well.
Sounds logical right? Only thing is he got rid of key talents like Survival of the Fittest/Feral Swiftness/Primal Precision. -- which i thought was very bad.
I really would like some other views on this.

That said. I wouldn't advise any feral (tank or otherwise) to not take Survival of the Fittest. Bar none its the best talent we have.
Will be all but required once they add the 66% armor to it.

true and to be honest I would probably laugh in the face of any feral I met who didnt have 3/3 WotF.
I'd personally be amazed if I saw a druid with
WotF
.
