Hello, I just wanted to ask a question..

the defense trinket is superior to the dodge one due to diminishing returns, so i'd use that one unless there was a fight i really wanted the use ability on.

Ok, so I shall just keep the trinkets i have used atm (repelling charge and essence of gossamer). Ty for your help :)

The use effect is far superior
Very much depends on the situation. Personally my favorite trinket use is an armor buff, since it gives the best of both worlds; it increases your EH like the temporary health bonus, and it reduces the damage you take like the temporary avoidance bonus.
But as for the equip bonus, defense is very nice. Not only does it balance your avoidance, minimizing the risk of diminishing returns problems, it also gives some block chance on the side which never hurts. Oh and the miss chance it gives is the only avoidance that works while stunned, knocked down etc.

I would advise keeping all three trinkets and using the valor medal in your avoidance set and the essence of gossamer in your EH set.
