That extra 5 points in destro- worth it?

Well, I'm a proud Aff 'lock, and I've been tweaking what I plan to be my build for 80, and with my stacking of haste, I've been mulling over the use of the extra 5 points in bane, rather than in something in the Aff or Demo trees. Note that I plan to raid a bit along with my PvPing. If you notice any other glaring flaws in my build, don't hesitate to bring it up.

I'll take any advice you can spit at me.

Bane is a very nice talent, -0.5s SB cast time = 20% more SB

Tweak : Malediction for Utility,5/5 Shadow Embrace, only 1/3 Eradication is enough for keeping it up.Pandemic and Everlasting Affliction too.

PS: Link the wowhead talent calc, it load way faster.

imo This build should be good for Raiding with a little pvp

Basically - if you want a 2 in 1 spec, you will loose something on both the pve and pvp side in some amount, but if you're just casually messing around in battlegrounds, in the 1600's bracket, doing Heroics and Naxx 10 man and stuff like that - i'll recommend this build:

It offers both a moderate damage output. and the various fun stuff with fears and soul link for PvP (Can be used in a few PvE situations as well) - in pve - still fill up with shadow bolts - just remember the increased casting time, and less critical damage - lowering dps by a certain amount, in PvP - kiting game and keep off me tactics all the time ;-)

Glyphs: Siphon Life, Unstable Affliction, Corruption - basically a decent 2 in 1 combination there as well, the reduced casting time on unstable will give you a little more time with Shadow Bolt Fill, and the corruption is basically free procs for both pve and pvp.
