The Battle For The Undercity little help

I did this long chain of quests and at last reached

this part where i must fight varimanthas himself, but i just found out that if i defeat him i can't take quests from him since he will dissapear for me, and even now i cant enter even if i drop the quest, there are hostile mobs waiting in undercity and elevators aren't working.
So my question is, is there any way i can take quests from Varimanthas now or is it too late for me?

It looks as if you will need to finish the quest to be able to enter the Undercity properly again. Not really sure what to tell you on this one; when I got to that quest in the chain, I just finished it and didn't put it off. Then again, since I am an Alliance, it didn't really matter whether or not I could enter the Undercity. :P

who cares if you can't get quests from him anymore? were ya planning on doing some old quests for rep or something? well, to answer your question. You're screwed and you have to finish the quest line.

That's what i am actually planning, but a pair of quests from varimanthas don't really change anything. I just wanted to be sure if it was possible.
