Why does no one Haha I think the Tauren's hump back will get worse what with the massive shoulders they get given. Haha they are honestly like 2x larger then the next shoulder sized race
And 2x more awesome.
Just posting so that this thread seems less empty.

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but I did not see a FAQ sticky nor did I want to start my own thread after lurking for an incredibly long time.
I've been playing WoW since shortly after release, but it wasn't until sometime around 4.1 that I started to play a Warrior. I started out as a Shaman, and I love the class so much to death. Long story short, having my account hacked multiple times and other complications had allowed me to experiment and deviate away for a little bit (even though I always find myself coming back). BC it was a Paladin, Wrath it was a Druid, and I already mentioned where I'm coming from now.
My question is: from what I've read concerning Fury Warriors in specific, it seems almost as if reaching the hard cap is not of a concern. Why is that?
So far, I've concluded that hitting the hard cap has lost it's value over the years from what I've read concerning Cata/up-to-date guides.
I can remember from what little time I use to play a Rogue in the BC how important it was to meet the hit cap, and playing a Feral Druid in Wrath has also made that point obvious, even if I found myself tanking more often than not (and I occasionally meddle with Prot because I think I found I enjoy tanking slightly less than, if not just as much as Shamanism). What is different for now, or for Fury Warriors?
If it is any consolidation, I noticed that reaching the hard-cap is difficult. I have hunted specifically for gear that has hit rating on it, reforged any gear that doesn't, and gemmed but still getting the socket bonuses. Yet I still fall short; with my DPS gear having a total of 2.1K hit and still having around a 6% chance to miss with white hits.
From what my friends have told me, Fury Warriors seem to have it the worst. I'm not sure if it's because each class/spec has different hit caps to meet, or if it's just because the pre-raid itemization for Fury Warriors is lousy.
Oh yeah, I didn't mention how right now I'm just in Heroic/Troll/Faction/BoE/Craft/Misc./Blah gear huh? Would this somehow fix itself if I could start raiding soon or would it still be futile to try and meet the hard-cap even then?

That's the profile of the Warrior I'm playing. I tend to shift a lot between my different sets.
I would also be looking for critique on items/itemization. I know I probably goofed up in some places, but this was all before I read some of the guides, and not looking far enough into the future to get the right stuff. I could reasonably take a day of my time to fix it but after all I figure again once I can start raiding I will fix it. Advice for both my Tanking/DPS set are very welcome, as I am loving Warriors in general but I find myself enjoying DPS unless I'm with friends (no coincidence there, less stress after all than having to deal with randoms) and wouldn't mind making either spec a more enjoyable experience for both myself and the friends/people I play with.
Actually, on that same note, what is the best prirority for single-target and AoE Tanking? I've gotten pretty far on Devastate > Rend > TC > SS > Revenge > SW > HS for single target, and Sweep > TC > SW > Rend > TC > Devastate for AoE, but I can't find an one way to maximize efficiency with threat-holding. It's become very apparent as of late, and I've been struggling/getting lucky with Taunts and perhaps the DPS actually slowing down/aggro-resetting for me.
If you've come this far, thank you for taking the time to read my WoT.

Are you asking why Fury doesnt go for the white hit cap? Because to get there (if you can) you'd have to sacrifice better stats making it a DPS loss.
Yep, not to mention Fury doesn't have alot of On-Hit procs that would boost our DPS to the point where it could overcome the stats being sacrificed for what you should have. Enhancement shammies have that 20% per on-hit application to make the casting time of certain spells instant. DPS boost. Rogues (I doubt they get the full cap) definitely want the spell cap for poisons. Frost DKs have Killing Machine. Autoattacks = Chance to proc an assured crit on certain spells.
What do Fury warriors have?
Enrage
, but only increases our damage a little bit, not seriously change the game for us. Well, 10% damage is awesome as hell, but it's easy to get with just the special hit cap.
Flurry
, which is due to critting with a melee strike, but it's not only autoattacks. Again, special hit cap would suffice.
Furious Attacks
is sadly our
only
autoattack talent, but that's fine because it's mostly a PvP ability and furies aren't suppose to be focused on autoattacks. All that autoattacks do is give us rage, increase our damage output by a fair amount, and trigger our on-hit procs from trinkets or enchantments.
There's also
Deep Wounds
, but again, refer to Flurry.
It appears most people state that having anywhere from 9% hit to 14% hit is good. You'd have to go to Elitistjerks to find out what they theorize to be the absolute best quality of hit without the sacrifices to more important secondary stats, but I
need
to remind you. You'd have to have BiS gear to be on par with their numbers, plus have a flawless "rotation", and being in the best of situations. Which doesn't happen as often as people think.

You guys think Fury PVP is as viable as Arms atm? I've been thinking about trying out TG PVP because I miss the opening days of Cata (Minus the one-shot HS hilarity). D:

As viable, certainly not. In bg's its pretty okay, but in arena they will dispel your enrages asap - rendering you utterly useless. A fury warrior in arena means: Dispel enrage>train him into eternity. In bg's its better though.

Bah, was worried it was getting too reliant on enrages. :|
Oh well. Thanks Apoc.

Jeez. Not too much activity here is there?
Nope, not really. The warriors are too busy kicking around the decapitated heads of mages, rogues, and pallies. :3
