Hey, don't go there.
Adams been on these boards longer than anyone else I can think of.
This isn't fun for me, or presumably anyone else for that matter, if it's going to be all negative. I'm done with the bickering here, it's not getting anyone anywhere. I apologize to those who I have offended, bruised egos included. lol
I will continue to RP to the best of my abilities, and will continue to take in criticism.

Yea good luck then.
I have no intentions of going anywhere. Our characters haven't had the opportunity to play yet ;)

No, I don't have on here in this particular RP, and you can see it as whining if you want, but the fact remains that yes, some of what you're doing is forcing the issue, which is called God moding. You want the RP to be interesting, then strike off on your own instead of trying to force Alucard and Hyper down the same path as you're dragon when they are trying to develop their characters.
I have read, and all I see is arrogance and superiority out of you're character, that you apparently know better then the others who you are interacting with. As I said, I'd rather not see Hyper's RP die out especially as it has just started up here, and has potential. There have been a few RPs on the forum that have died out quickly as someone plunked their character down into the center of something and just started trying to lead the way for everyone else.
And yes, people who RP dragon's throw up warning signs on this forum; we've seen them and they usually burn out quickly. There is nothing wrong with a 'normal' character that isn't all powerful, because as said earlier, unless someone goes after you're character with either another dragon or some Old God avatar, any characters you're interacting with will end up staying safe and without any troubles as the dragon in the pocket is always a win.

Lack of creativity kills RP.
Apparently no one here plays World of Warcraft. Lots of dragons die in that game, most of them aren't even raid encounters. And if quoting the game is blasphemy around here (which would be understandable), then
here
is one fellow who killed nine of them, on his wee lonesome, in lore. I could find many more examples.
You need to relax, because you aren't solving any problems - I dare say the opposite.
Of COURSE my character is going to "know better" at this particular stage, as so far he is the only character that has been actually investigating the source of "the game." ALL I see here, Adam, is a knee-jerk reaction to my character because there were some bad apples who came before me. Give it a chance, because this nonsense argument with you is discouraging.
My character is looking for people to aid in his struggle. If the other folks have pre-written their characters and are dead-set on the direction I am moving (at the moment) with mine, then it will play out that way and my character will move on in search of others. So far you are the only one who has openly stated that there is a problem. Keep reading, I'm sure even you will like it.

Of course, Kurdan was killing the immature Red dragons that the Dark Horde were riding, the same dragons that the Orcs themselves would kill once the dragons were out of immature stage and could begin thinking for themselves.
Sure we kill them in Lore, but we mainly kill Dragonspawn, whelps or, again, immature drakes, and when we do take down a full grown one, it's with either a) A lot of help, or b) they intentionally weaken themselves(such as Vale) to let us kill them.
And while it might be 'knee-jerk', the tone you're responding with here isn't exactly making a good case of you.
Lack of creativity kills RP. No, I've seen creative ones perish from bad posters. And of course, that comment is implying that all those who have come before you are 'bads'.
So far you are the only one who has openly stated that there is a problem.I admit, I'll call if it I see it, that's just who I am.
And it's Adams, not Adam, might as well say it here now, as I will admit, I missed the 'e' in your name Whiskey.

I fail to see how someone can glean tone from the written word, but I will take your word for it and try my best to remedy the situation. However, I do not see a problem and I DO NOT have any intentions on DM'ing this story.
I will be introducing additional characters soon.

Heh, trust me, tone can be read in the words.

Correction: Tone can be

This is lulz.

I will only post this once and never return to this again. I hope, mister Whiskey, that you will at least read this, even though somewhy I don't think this will achieve any desirable effect whatsoever.
We were here for a very long time, and Adams longer than anyone I can think of. We had our ways, and while I'm not suggesting they were perfect, we were fine with them and were willing to grow. We came here to have fun, and if someone did something everyone else did not like, most commonly all it took to remedy the situation is a good laugh and an apology.
And then you came in your self-righteousness. You came out of nowhere, not knowing our ways, not knowing us - and yet, somewhy, you decided you just know better. You decided that somewhy you can lead us - without even asking, 'Do you want to be led?'. You mock our ways, you patronise us - how dare you. How
dare
you? Who are you to show us what do we do and how do we do it?
You say my character (who is in his late twenties, but
of course
you don't care) behaves over-defensively. Maybe, maybe - or maybe it's just common sense. You say that your dragon is a protector of all living things - then tell me, mister Whiskey, how on Azeroth is telling a scared teenager
that does not even know how to fight
, "You can make difference, now go fight the villains!" protecting? You say that Rhey did not pass any of her knowledge on to Nova, and claim that Nova's fear is the sole reason for it, without even trying to find out, whether there are any reasons underlying that - and somewhy I don't doubt Hyper can - and will, if needed - come with explanation that will make perfect sense for everyone... Except maybe you.
Lastly, you appeal to me being 18 years old, and either are older than me, or try to look like somebody older than me - in both cases, it does not give you any reason to patronise me at all. The age means nothing, and if you tried to infuriate me so that I brought more aggression and action into my posts, I hate to burst your bubble, mister Whiskey, but you failed.
Your arrogance will do you no good, mister Whiskey, and in the end....
You will be left alone.

So, yes, the main character I'm introducing here is Dennis Lobo Hendricks, but it's different version then the one most people are familiar with in the Azeroth 20 Years Later series, so, let's see how I can do with this one and his 'pack'.

Adams, since I missed A20L, is there anywhere I can read about Lobo?
Post by
Adamsm
Beyond that one? Not really heh. The A20L version was a commander of Gilneas, had a feud going with Morec's Bloodhowl and his family members, slaughtered most of said family after going a little crazy and was exiled from Gilneas at the end of the RP. Lobo was also the first of the 'Beast' Worgen that appeared, back before we found out that they don't transform according to the moon phases heh.
As for the story itself; Lobo was originally hunting for my half-orc shaman Garos, intending to turn him in for a massive bounty that he had acquired, and fell in with Kali and Kae at one point, which is when he went crazy. After he got his mind back, was part of the army to take back Lordaeron, and from there he was phased out for other characters.
And in Aftermath, I was working with his daughter Miranda Lupe Hendricks....and actually thinking of rejoining as I've had some new ideas for them.

I
might
join this, but I have far too many character ideas in my head at the minute. After all, this RP seems to be moving at a reasonable pace that I should be able to keep up with, despite the treacherous time zones. Besides, it looks like it has potential to be great for me, so yeah, I'll think up which character(s) I shall be using.

"Great..." sighed the elf, then cast the spell he used only on extreme occasions - 'Fortify Strength'. Even under its effects, he had some trouble freeing himself from Ashorn's grasp. The rest was fairly simple - levitate two mighty tauren to their beds and finally collapse on his.
I was referring to Ahanu and Ashorn, since Ashepta was already in her bed.

Light, Ahanu only has 'Hellboy'ish stubs instead of horns, I doubt Dansha would be able to grab them.
