Hy all!!!I'm new here so don't laugh about me!:P I have a question for you!How do i change my minion?I have an imp and it become with the time weak and i really want to change it!Can you help me please?By the way,can you tell me what minion the best is?Thank to all!
You'll get quests every ten levels (up to 60) from your trainer which allows you to get new minions
level 10: Voidwalker
level 20: Succubus
level 30: Felhunter
level 40: Felsteed (okay, not QUITE the same...)
level 50: Infernal
level 60: Doomguard, Dreadsteed
Plus there's the Felguard for 41 points in demonology.
Which is the best? Depends on what you're using it for. The imp is a mana battery. The succubus is for CC. The felhunter is mostly an anti-caster pvp pet. Felguard and VW are tanks. Infernal and doomguard... well, they're for fun and shock value.
I agree. I usually use Void when questing, felhunter and succubus in bgs and thats pretty much my choice
Which minion is best depends on your level, your spec, and what you are doing (not just what part of the game you are playing, but how you decide to attack). So it's a question that doesn't have a quick answer, and there are also situations where more than one minion will get the job done :)
All of your demons are from quests, not training (except the felsteed; it's now just a spell), so be sure you are following up on yellow !'s :)
From level 10 to the early 20s, your voidwalker will be able to tank mobs well. However, he doesn't do as much damage as the succubus, and if you have mastered fear (or curse of exhaustion kiting as affliction) using a pet as a tank is not really a concern, and you may find that you can level more quickly using the succubus.
At later levels, Affliction warlocks with the dark pact skill will usually quest with their imp (to use it as a passive "mana battery," as Dunsinane said), while demonology warlocks get the felguard (who can put out a respectable amount of damage while holding mobs).
In instances, you will almost always use your imp so that the group gets the blood pact buff. The exception to this is if your group needs you to use the succubus to seduce a humanoid mob.
In PvP, the felhunter and succubus are the most powerful because of their special attacks.

^^ Basic affliction leveling, including how and when to use the succubus. She doesn't serve the same purpose as your voidwalker, so don't use her that way.
The infernal quest is gained in Felwood, just north of Bloodvenom Falls.
Ok well I am a newb as well what quest is it that gives you the infernal and I honestly have my succubus and it is not as good as my void maybe I am doing something wrong.
void= HP= very good agro hold= very good damage=weak =for tanking
Succubus= HP= bad agro hold=none damage= good =for damage
he said if you masterd fear and CoE ....but its not good idea to use them if its crowded area.....
Void is for tanking
Succubus is for damage and CC
