Are you using the top option to automatically find a server for you? If so, you could have the payload option selected. Another reason is that you could be playing on a 24/7 payload server :|

I don't know, but can we stick this thread?
I learned a lesson today.
Better the team performance the more impact Spy has.
I played two payload games today, one on Goldrush and another is Upward, both offence. So on the Upward, I had great team, someone near the cart all the time, everyone was dedicated and performed at 100%, so defenders had hard time focusing on their backs, since Engies were constantly repairing their stuff, and Pyros were guarding the carts. So I had no problem on sneaking up and cause mayhem. But on Goldrush, we had much worse team, pushing was going slow, people ran off by themselves to run into the sentries and Pyros, so Pyros had enough time to spycheck.
Thoughts?

We aren't seeing much activity because we're in between updates but the Halloween event should be coming soon.
As for your lesson, you are right that playing a good Spy is dependent on others doing their job. Not only because the others are focused on them but also due to the fact that downtime exists without a constant push. The opposing team will try to look for a threat that
isn't there.

Standing next to the bomb is very dangerous. You normally want to have an advantage.
