Thinking of doing a race change for my hunter.

I'm currently a Night-elf; thinking about either a Worgen or Pandaren.
Shadow Meld is nothing when you have stealth.
Would like to hear your thoughts on these two races from the hunters who have been playing them.
Does bounce mitigated enough damage? Like were I to get blow off of the Lumber Mill how much health do you have remaining % wise? would you be included to jump down to help someone out?
What about Worgen? Does you cheetah stack when your in true form or not and if not is the extra 10% worth it? What about when in Sheath> Do you even use your aspect of the cheetah any more?
Double bonuses on foods with the Pandaren that with a stun sounds pretty good.
Worgen look way cool.
I just don't know
Thanks for the input ....
(Any good reason to stay a night-elf?)

I've seen two lists with Pandaren as the top race for hunter dps, but the differences are slight. The doubled food buff grants an extra 300 agility with
Sea Mist Rice Noodles
.
Quaking Palm
is a melee attack, so not often useful to a hunter. Your skill and play style will easily overwhelm any racial advantage, for better or worse. If you're bad it won't help and if you're good it won't hurt. Play the race you like best.
I personally prefer Draenei. I like the extra gear flexibility
Heroic Presence
provides, and
Gift of the Naaru
is a surprisingly decent heal that's saved my butt many a time.

Like Nekrotik said, unless you're in an extremely competitive guild and need that tiny boost, the racial's don't really matter.
Play your favorite race. A.K.A.
Stay a night elf. They are the coolest.
(If you really want to change, the human rep. bonus is nice for all the dailies)
EDIT: Now that I look more closely, it looks like you are going to be playing PVP, which I don't do, so I can't be much help.

I switched from Night Elf to Draenei just before MoP for the Hit Bonus , but I play 99% PvE .
And how Stupid am I , playing Draenei for months and didnt realize I had Gift of the Naaru , those close brawls I have lost would have been wins --DOH

As a hunter you shouldnt be taking any fall damage as long as in combat. Hell you shouldnt be even falling from there unless you jump.
Disengage
. Can be both used as knockback reversal (gotta turn the mouse 180) and as safe fall (just pop it right above the ground than).
As for the race change. It doesnt really matter unless you are bored, have too much money, dont want to risk with tmorph or/and are top level min maxer.
Cheetah doesnt stack with anything.

I tested that Disengage Fall thing ...
I walked off of The Summer Terrance (by the fireworks vendor) and received 251,317 Fall damage...
Then I healed up and put my pet on training dummy along with serpent sting then ran to where I had fallen before ....and this time used disengaged before hitting the bottom 249,003 ... however this was without 180 twist ... That took a while to achieve as the leaves from the Pandaria Trees obscured my view when I twisted and I hit the ground a few times...Ouch... however I was able to get off and I received no damage from the fall. (And That is Good Maneuver ) TY
I didn't even think about Draenei ( Exelect point about the gear flexibility )

Neat a Bow transmogged to look like a gun... I thought we couldn't do that ... Guess I must have missed that change. (smile)

Orc. Simple :D. Im not alliance so I cant say but I wouldn't read to much into the racials to be honest just play whoever you like most, as a hordie I hardly see any human hunters so youve got the standout feel going for you there, I personally wouldn't mind going Worgen if they didn't bloody sniff all the time hehe.
If you are a pvper then I guess going panda wouldn't be a bad idea, an extra kick from the food buff initially (before you die and lose it) and the fall damage reduction (I dont know how much it takes of it) certainly cant be complained about, you're not always gonna time your Disengage and there's the ever present threat of lag.

I like that animation on the female Worgen.. works rather well for a hunter i think.

I was under the impression that when it came to PVP humans where considered the best (Alliance) race due to
Will to Survive
acting like a free trinket, leaving both slots for stat boosts.

It used to be great when you could utilise powerful pve trinkets. But not so much now.

I have a Worgen Hunter and will be race changing shortly. The lack of boot armor annoys me.

If your favorite race can run hunter, then do it. Few of the race stats are deal breaking. Personally, I turned my old BE hunter into Undead, they are my favorite WoW race, and they have almost no good advantage. In a weird way, it makes her more fun to play, it's a bit of a challenge to make her as good as any other race's hunter. And she now looks -marvelous-!

Touch of the Grave is passive DPS and self-healing.
I don't know if it scales with SV mastery, but it seems likely since it scales with Unholy DK mastery.

Possible, as Black arrow is shadow damage as well and its affected by the mastery.
