anyway, newegg is having a good sale and theres a video card im interested in; but, my video card knowledge is not exactly up to date, and with this being a one day sale, i dont think i have the time.

this is what it says for the graphics, i dont know much about video cards yet, so id like an opinion on this.

48 stream processors jumps out at me.......not sure I would advise it. But maybe someone else with more knowledge would be of help.

To the OP, the card that Rowsol is recommending is indeed a good card, but keep in mind that WoW relies on a good CPU and a fair amount of RAM (4GB if you have a 32-bit OS and the sky is the limit with a 64-bit). As long as you have that, then the 5770 or any comparable graphics card will suit you just fine.

i have 32bit windows xp, AMD 3.2ghz quad core, 4GB ram :P

A 9800 or above would be more than enough, especially over an onboard card. But you might as well throw out 1gb of ram, as windows XP only utilizes up to 3gb.

hmm, the 9800 series, that looks really good. the problem is, my powerblock is a 400w and they are all 450w or over.
