It's the best bow for farming hands down!

You would fare well to use it during heroics as well. The only time that you wouldn't use it, would be raiding or some serious PvP.

They're not, unless you're one of those people who use Saronite Razorheads for farming...but still, even with vendor arrows, it adds up.

Besides...if you're lugging around the only legendary ranged weapon (I don't count TK:The Eye stuff, those are temporary for that instance) with a ridiculous < 3% drop rate off a boss that no one does anymore (Hell, on Nazfail it's hard to even get to Kalecgos with a full raid of 80s....SWP is a bish)...it's probably worth actually using it, even it is only to show off or just farming. ~~Pretty sure that until they changed Steady Shot to include ammo damage (and pre-BM nerf and Ulduar), Thori'dal stayed our best weapon even at 80 besides the fact that it's iLevel 174 and Lv. 70.~~ They don't make obtaining one a Feat of Strength for nothing.

Edit: Yeah, I was a little off about certain parts of what I said.

I use Mammoth Cutters with my True-aim Long Rifle while farming Mammoths, Rhinos for meat & leather and BC Heroics. Volley only uses one bullet per use. Would I still love to have Thori'dal, hells yes, but sadly i never make the Sunwell pugs.

The Ammo is the difference. Pure stats with the Xbow you gain 12 Agi, 26 Crit, 34 AP at a trade of 17 Armor Pen.

I use Razorheads for everything, since i am able to make them for myself. Why wouldnt i?
2 Saronite bars for 1k arrows? Vendor arrows are far more expensive.

Hmm... This bow looks familiar... Maybe because I have it? :D

But its deff not the best looking bow ingame.
Frenzystrike Longbow is prob the best atm.

Also. If you have the bow, I'd use it instead of that crossbow.
I tested my dps with it and had about 3.8k unbuffed on training dummys. (Prob woulda been more if I was Survival at the time)

But if you dont have Thor'idal, dont worry about it... Get like Arrowsong or something.
