This might be more info than you wanted, but I hope it helps...

I have not tried it, but you don't need it either, if the rest of your gear is "good". I had as much as a 25K lead in threat during the demon phase the last time my guild attempted it (we have not killed him get, but last week was just our 2nd attempt).

There are lots feasible gear sets/talent builds for tanking Leo. The talent build I have for Leo, is really good for tanking him and pretty much terrible for everything else (especially since I do not have 2 T5 and the warlock trinket from Solarian), so I respec specifically for the fight and yes it's costly to do so, but since it is a new fight for us, I want to do my part to help us kill him.

Some new and better gear has entered the game since this guide was first written, like the Darkmoon Tanking Card trinket.

You know, I would love it if someone posted a short Leotheras Tanking guide on here. I am not the main one doing it, but I get a funny feeling I may have to at some point...

NP: Get as close to 365 fire resistance as you can; get as much Stamina as possible; have DoTs on Leo just before the transition, then spam searing pain. If you are getting killed, spec Demo and use soul-link.
