About a month ago there was a discussion here about dropping anticipation and its 5% dodge bonus, but it turned out to be a bad idea because this bonus is added before diminishing returns and therefore very valuable.
However, unlike parry and dodge, block is not on a diminishing return scale AND you get far more bang for your block rating buck. In fact, just slap on
this and you almost got your 5% already. How about getting rid of
shield specialization?
When you REALLY need to prevent death, you pop shield block (+100% block chance) and if you get pounded hard enough to make you use an oh #@!$ button, I think a tank will have a full rage bar anyway (nobody needs to pop shield block to get the +2 rage bonus per block unless soloing)
So I wonder, how much does dropping shield specialization really hurt?
P.S. For the perfect tank, this talent is wonderful because you don't have to sacrifice any mitigation talents for this, but I'm trying to remove points where it hurts the least to create a world pvp/tank hybrid
