Time for character review by peers

Firstly, I'm a casual player, so time and effort playing doesn't run my life. However, I've enjoyed playing a BM hunter the last 11 months, both PVP and PVE. I won't address the common PVP issues known, but let me say I have more fun with PVE so that's the direction I took.

As one who has read postings, researched and tried different builds during this time, I decided to post here for open critical review by other hunters to improve my character and style of play.

A couple of notes; I use the gorilla for dailies and a devilsaur when I run instances and raids (usually once a week). Time doesn't allow me to run Heroics everyday, so EoH badges aren't pouring in.

Looks good. I'd personally take the 2 points out of Improved Hunter's Mark and put them into Animal Handler.
I see you have the Giantmaim Bracers, I opted to stick with the Eaglebane Bracers for the +Hit over the Armour Penetration.

You seem to have gone into marks for careful aim, but missed out in TBW in the bm tree. Big no no.

Use a gorilla for your pet.

As for gear, what you have is fine, just pick up more gear as you level.

yeah, after 60. bm end talents are too good.

Agreed, get your BM talents done first as you don't really need the MM stuff yet. You could skip the Beast Mastery talent though and start putting points into MM. At 60 (and some with argue, at any level) the BM talent doesn't have much to offer. Get Lethal Shots and Careful Aim as your first talents in MM, don't worry overmuch about Focused Aim (that can wait until later when you're looking at tougher instances and need the Hit bonus) as you may not even need it depending on what gear you have.

reason i got beast mastery was because for one point during leveling you can get 4 talents points for your gorilla. To each his own i guess.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Leth, I'll go ahead and respec to the endgame for now, knowing the nerf is coming. Cost isn't an issue either, so it's trial and error until I find something workable or the guru's get something figured out to go with. Survival is an option that I wouldn't mind trying once the patch comes.

Exotics are nice, but as you said, it's all about DPS now. The Spirit Beast is a wish of mine but I know there's some issues with it, so a basic Cat will be my pet for now running raids and instances.
