I agree 100%.
I don't post here very often, but I wanted to say that this is a welcome change.
Being able to filter by expansion and faction is super-helpful.
I also like the ability to turn off the individual subjects in the settings.
The only feedback I have, is:
move it to the top of your page
!
Or at least let us have the ability to collapse the "modules" above it.
There is nothing wrong with those, but I don't need to scroll past them every day.

I agree with the others that 'Today in WoW' is visually more appealing and more functional than before.
I've customized the view several times but it just reverts back to the normal view once the session ends. I'm guessing that you're using cookies to maintain the selections and many of us users clear cookies after each session.
I've noticed the same thing with the 'All News' feed. It's great that you eventually added the ability to filter the content that is relevant to the user but once the session ends it reverts back to showing everything.
Is it possible to have our customization selections be stored at the account-level? I'd find these changes a lot more useful if they were automatically applied when I logged in rather than having to set them each time.
Thanks for the iterative improvements to the site. It's noticed and welcomed.

Thanks for the kind words, we're glad people are happy with the revamp. :)

We store the settings in what's called local storage, which is separate from cookies. If you change your settings to only clear cookies on logout but not local storage it would remember your settings for this and several other little features around the site, like what race/gender to default models to in a few areas (though clearing cookies would still log you out). We're unlikely to change these settings to save with the user, since we want anonymous users, who are the great majority of our users, to have access to these features as well. We try to make our site features usable by as wide an audience as possible.

Thanks Jerek for the clarification. I also clear local storage which explains why the settings disappear.
