Tricky little question

Hey I have a little question which I can't find an answer for

The example: You duel a rogue, you have just snared him in a frost nova and start casting your frostbolt. Now the rogue vanish the nova, but apparently you have the pet out so you cast your ranged pet nova and get the rogue out of stealth+snared. what will happen now =)

1. Your frostbolt which you casted will hit the rogue cause u got him out of stealth.
2. You have to target the rogue again for your frostbolt to hit.
3. Your frostbolt just interupt when casttime i over

Another fast question, does permafrost talent also apply for the slow spell in the arcane tree according to the healing reduction ?

Permafrost only applies to chill effects, so not Slow.

When the rogue vanishes you will lose him as a target and your frostbolt will stop casting. As soon as he s out of it and snared with pet nova then you can start casting again.

If i remember correctly, the frostbolt will not do its full cast and then not hit, rather it will stop casting as soon as your target is lost.
