Twink Question: Big Scope On A Small Gun?

OK. It used to be that you could have your main put a big scope on a smaller gun or bow. I think that got nerfed. But what is possible?
I want to put as big of a scope as possible on Lil Timmy's Pea Shooter (Level 16) and wondered who knows what is best for that lil gun. Any suggestions out there?

It depends whether applying the scope will bind the item, otherwise you could have a higher level put the scope on and mail it to the twink.
