Two questions about Enhancement PvE

First off, I've read the first post on EJ regarding Enhancement, and I've read the FAQ here, etc., so hopefully these aren't stupid questions.
I recently got my
Shaman
* to level 85 and I had a couple of questions regarding mechanics. I'm
really
close to 10k sustained DPS on the level 85 dummy so, paradoxically, I'm hoping I'm doing just a few things wrong.
1) The EJ priority list lists FS with the UE buff on the priority list. Fine, not hard to do. My question is, does FS + UE move down if FS is already up on my target? Or do I just go ahead and refresh it ~6 seconds before it falls off? I'm
thinking
that I refresh it, because I do get slightly better uptime in doing so, but I'm not sure. I'm still in the WotLK mentality of feeling nervous about reapplying dots.
2) Wolves. I have never ever played a class with temporary pets that you actually had to think about before. What cooldowns do I pop before I pop wolves, and what cooldowns do I pop after? My assumption on this one is stat increases before, lust after, but that's pretty much a guess based on what stats I think I remember hearing they get through me and what buffs can effect them directly.
*Yes I know the gem in that weapon is dumb. It had that in it and was also the cheapest one on the AH and I haven't bothered to change it yet.

1) If you were to Earth Shock instead, you'd have to wait for UE to come back up before you would want to FS again, potentially dropping the DoT longer than if you were to have clipped it.
2) Wolves are a pet and not a guardian, like our elemental totems. This is important because this means that our wolves' stats vary dynamically with ours, they're not "set" when we summon them. If you get a trinket proc after they're out, their stats will increase like yours. You don't need to line up anything except Bloodlust if you know your raid/group will use it before your Feral Spirit CD would be up again. Using Bloodlust after you're already sated to buff your wolves after you summon them again is a fun way to further max our dps, and it's just cool to time that sort of thing with another enh shaman in your raid (and to confuse everyone else).
Fire and Earth Elemental stats are "set" when you summon them but that's more of an elemental concern now since Fire Elemental isn't used anymore by enh on single targets.

Okay, so clip it if I have to, makes sense.
The other half of that question though, is should I delay casting UE/FS if I'm able to?
For example, if I have FS, UE, and SS all off CD, and FS is currently applied, do I go UE -> FS -> SS, UE -> SS -> FS, or SS -> UE -> FS?

Unleash Elements, whether you're rolling FT/FT or WF/FT, is a very strong CD. The FT portion hits almost as hard as LB and the WF portion grants 60% haste for 6 attacks. UE for most people (every says to sim) is after Lava Lash but before SS. With the Unleash Flame buff active, you'll then want to FS after LL but before 5MW LB. I believe putting UE FT before LB and SS prevents the clipping issue you're asking about now that I think about it.

Depends on how long you have on flame shock left. I will wait on unleash elements if I have FS at 6 seconds and toss in a different attack. This allows me to get a fully buffed FS without clipping much. 2-3 seconds is all I will clip on FS otherwise it's not worth it. You can refresh Searing or toss and ES or maybe wait 1.2 seconds for LL to come up and this will let you do UE and refresh FS with 1-3 seconds left on it.

So that makes it sound like never move where UE is in the priority queue, but delay FS as long as possible (without losing the UE buff) to keep the clipping to a minimum.
So TL;DR: UE -> SS -> wait a bit and maybe hope for MW5 -> give up waiting and just FS before UE buff runs out.

The problem I see with waiting on FS is that you can't ES while you wait, since the Unleash Flame buff is only 7 sec long. Casting FS as soon as you use UE get's you back to ES'ing quicker.
Sitting on available CDs is almost always a dps loss, that's part of the idea of a priority system that we use vs a rotation.

You aren't waiting on an available cooldown so much as using the others in the rotation. Clipping FS is a significant loss of dps if it's a greater amount than needed. Typically your first rotation should finish with 4 seconds left on FS when UE becomes available. UE then FS would leave with a 1-2 seconds clip and not a 6 second clip.
As for the wolves, set it up where you use them twice in a fight. It's optimal to use them as early as possible in a boss fight after trinket procs. Then use them again during Heroism.
