Unable to make Death Knight "failure"

Hi all. I'm trying to create a female goblin Death Knight but when I hit the "Accept" button, I get a box that says "Failure." Here's the
screenshot
. The strangest thing however is that I am able to make a male goblin DK (as well as other race/gender DK combinations) on that same realm. I'm aware you cannot have more than 1 Death Knight per realm. I've also tried various names thinking they may be unavailable but even made-up gibberish doesn't go through. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How can I fix this? Thank you.

might sound silly, but did you remember too remove the other DK on that realm? since only 1 per realm like you said.
prehaps try making the DK on a different realm (one of which you got no characters. if it fails here also then its a really weird problem and you should probally write a ticket too blizzard asking how too fix it (or what might cause it).
