Uncommon Gems?

If this has been discussed, please point me in the right direction, but if not, I have to ask:
What do you all do with your uncommon gems?
I have stacks upon stacks upon stacks of all the Pandaria uncommon uncut gems, and I literally have no idea what to do with them then just vendor them! I've tried selling them, cut and uncut of various cuts but alas, they don't sell. I've thought about just cutting a ton of them to possibly come across some perfect cuts but when I have, I get maybe 1 or 2 perfects for every 3 stacks I cut.
I've also thought about making jewelry and selling or disenchanting that but I don't have many Serpent's Eyes to use for that and well, it seems like a bit of a waste.
I'm just curious what other people are doing with theirs. (:

I typically send them to my xmute master alchemist and use Golden Lotus to xmute them into rares (getting procs about once every 2-3 gems), then mail them back to my JC and either cut them for my main, or use them for research.

This is a good option also - watch the AH for Serpent's Eyes... I'll snag them for 5g each when they are that low, and use them for jewelry as well (typically to dust, as I am already sick of reposting the jewelry on the AH).

I make the level 85 jewellery which doesn't need Serpent's Eyes. AH the blues (usually), shard the rest.
I'm done with my Discoveries, so I don't really need any more rares off hand, but I've got a few stacks tucked away to transmute in case I do suddenly need more rares than I prospect.

Spilt 50/50 with my X-Muter. Save a few more for Rings/Necks to d/e. But I mostly Just cut them I have a good idea on my server want sells so I vendor the Uncommon Cuts and Sell the Perfect cuts.
On my server its better to sell the Uncommon Gems then it is to sell the rares same stats. That and the uncut rares sell for Higher then the gems pre-cut beacuse of the Metas and MOunts.
