Warlock Build

My wife and I started out WoW'ing a year ago with her as a human warlock and my human rogue. Now she stopped playing for a long time- long enough for me to take my druid alt to 70. Now she's coming back to quest with me again and it is the first time since the last patch so she had to respec her points and just tried to keep everything the same as before. She's going destruction.
I just wonder if there are other aspects of the warlock she will completely miss out on or if that is a good avenue for her. Basically our play consists of her voidwalker tanking while I ambush and she shadow bolts, DoT and soul shards.
Is there a better spec for her warlock to take in this team or are we rolling just fine?

I just doubt that she would give me the pleasure of fighting next to her succubus. But I will suggest it.
